Your First Journal Entry: A Journey to Authenticity

Hello there, dreamers and deep thinkers,

Here we go! I hope you enjoy this first exercise!

Take some time to reflect on these questions and write your honest answers. This exercise is a first step toward understanding and embracing your authentic self.

1. What Truly Brings You Joy?

Think about the moments when you feel most alive and content. What are you doing? Who are you with? Why do these experiences matter to you?

2. What Values Are Most Important to You?

List three to five values that resonate deeply with you (e.g., honesty, creativity, kindness). Why are these values important in your life?

3. Where in Your Life Do You Feel Out of Alignment?

Identify areas of your life where your actions or choices don’t match your values or desires. How does this misalignment make you feel?

4. What Masks Are You Ready to Let Go Of?

Consider the roles or behaviors you’ve adopted to fit in or avoid judgment. What would life look like if you let go of these masks?

5. When Was the Last Time You Felt Vulnerable?

Reflect on a recent moment of vulnerability. How did it feel to share your authentic self? Did it strengthen your connection with others?

6. What Is One Area of Your Life You’d Like to Align with Your Values?

Choose a single area (e.g., career, relationships, hobbies) and brainstorm one small change you could make to bring it closer to your core values.

7. What Fear of Judgment Holds You Back?

Identify a specific fear of being judged. How could you reframe this fear to focus on your personal growth rather than others’ opinions?

A Final Reflection

Write a short paragraph about how answering these questions made you feel. Do you notice patterns, insights, or surprises? How will you use this exercise to start living more authentically?

I hope you enjoyed this activity! Stay curious.
